1. Hair Rebonding – Hair Rebonding Procedure

Hair rebonding is a process in which the bonds are restructured [1] to change the shape of your hair. Your hair is made up of proteins and is connected by bonds. These bonds fix the structure of your hair. Based on these bonds, your hair can be straight, wavy, curly or coily. In hair rebonding, these bonds are relaxed and broken. This way allows the restructuring of your hair.

process

Hair rebonding uses chemicals and heat to restructure your hair. This process usually takes between 3-8 hours, depending on how long your hair is and how thick your hair structure is.

The first step in the hair rebonding process involves shampooing your hair. No conditioner is applied and your hair is left naturally dry.

Your stylist may or may not blow-dry your hair.

Now your stylist will analyze your hair by dividing it into different parts, after that he will decide what kind of relaxant to use on your hair.

Your stylist will coat each of your hairs using a thin plastic board. Relaxants are used in this process.

The relaxant is left on the hair for 30- 45 minutes depending on the texture of your hair.

After this your hair is steamed. This process takes 10-40 minutes, depending on the texture of your hair.

Now your stylist will deep condition your hair by washing off the relaxant.

Your hair will be straightened using a ceramic flat iron. Keratin lotion is applied before this.

The bonds are secured by applying a neutralizer to hold them in place. It is usually left for half an hour, then washed off with cold water.

Your hair is blow dried and straightened once more using a flat iron.

2. Hair Smoothing – Hair Smoothening

It is a less expensive treatment and gives a natural look. The use of chemicals in hair smoothing breaks down and restructures the bonds in your hair. The difference between hair rebonding and hair smoothing is that the hair is not completely straightened.

First the hair is washed, followed by conditioning and then blow dried.

Now Upper Hair Cream is applied to your hair.

It is kept on the hair for about 30 minutes.

This cream enables breakage to the bonds in the hair.

After this the hair is straightened using a flat iron.

After this neutralizer is used so that the effect is sealed in the hair.

Again after 30 minutes the hair is washed.

The chemicals used in this process can irritate your scalp. The result of this chemical hair straightening process lasts for three months.

3. Straightening – Straightening

Like hair rebonding, the straightening process uses chemicals and heat to straighten your hair.

Under the hair straightening method, chemicals are used to break the protein bonds present in your hair.

After washing your hair, your hairstylist uses heat to straighten your hair. The chemical is then used again to tighten the component of your hair. Once your hair is straightened, the process is over.

After three days you will have to go again for the follow-up session so that your bonds can be locked in completely.

Its result will last for 6- 7 months.
